I can't believe I'm finished with shopping. The tree is decorated. The house is decorated. Whew! This is probably the first year in many years that I'm early for the Christmas celebration. It's actually nice to relax.

Received our first Christmas card in the mail today. A beautiful reindeer card created by my design team member Domi! Truly touched my heart. xx

Teacher/Parent Conference today-sooo the elementary schools were closed. My daughter was thrilled, but my son still had to attend school (middle school) and was not a happy camper.


Daughter and I decided it was a perfect day to paint.
She created a fun Koi fish in school's art class and couldn't wait to bring him to life!

I decided to join the fun.

Couldn't think of what to paint- lol!

So I drew up a quick little girl with an apple.

She finished painting on both sides.

And proudly named him/her Magikarp from Pokemon.

So cute. He'll find a happy place on the mantel in the living room.

I finished mine, too.

A fun and creative day today. I hope all of you had one, too!!
